Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained

Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained I received a call the other day from a tutor. Not an unusual thing, however this tutor just happened to be someone whom I helped sign up at TutorZ, last year. Now I remember him because before he signed up with us he had questions, lots of questions. This is a guy who does not just jump into something and then see what happens.   Now the reason I recall Michael Q. is because he had specific concerns about putting personal information, including an image of himself out there. He had questions about how the students find him, how they contact him, how much it will cost him. He had questions about security and privacy, all good questions by the way and all were answered to his satisfaction. However, when you work the TutorZ customer service line as much as I do you often find people calling about the service who are more interested in telling us what we need to do and how we should be doing it, rather than asking us exactly what we do and how we do it. Apparently there are a lot of computer science students out there with good ideas. And the frustrating point about it is many of these prospective tutors; move on without even trying us out. Here is why I bring up Michael Q., a couple weeks after answering all his questions, he emailed me to tell me he was signing up to try us out. I was so moved by this that I wrote a blurb in the testimonial section about it called “A TutorZ Tutor” back in October last year, remember? Anyway, here is what he told me this past week. “Your site is amazing, John”, he said. “I have plenty of work now and can see much more on the way!” He told me he has become a “Gold Apple” tutor and is excited for several reasons. First, Michael points out he was given $20 of credit to try us out “Risk Free”. In other words; this cost him zero. He wanted to compliment us on this business model. Try it for free, if it doesn’t work out for you, “nothing lost, nothing gained.” If it does work out for you, as it has with our hard working French and English tutor Michael Q., then “nothing lost, money gained!” Second, He has made a lot of money in the last few months from students sent to him from TutorZ.com. I cannot say enough about how satisfying it is to receive these calls from tutors and students that have had great success with our service. It shows all of us at TutorZ, that we are on the right path! If you would like to join us please visit and try us out “no risk” at TutorZ.com, and become another TutorZ Tutor!
